BUILDING PERFORMANCE - CBPCA AND BPI
This fall I completed a 4 part Building Performance course offered through the California Building Performance Contractors Association, and became certified as a BPI Building Analyst after passing a field exam and a written test.

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. As a LEED AP BD+C, I have passed a wide-ranging exam on green building principles, and am an Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction.

BUILD IT GREEN - Certified Green Building Professional
"Build It Green is a membership supported non-profit organization whose mission is to promote healthy, energy- and resource-efficient homes in California." I have completed their basic and advanced green building and whole house analysis trainings.
Their courses present a "Whole-Systems" approach, addressing how homes fit into their community, their energy and water use, durability, efficient use of resources, and indoor environmental quality. They discuss both new and existing homes and emphasize thoughtful and high quality design and construction.
